Waivers for the Event - please complete the appropriate release form and bring it to the event (every participant must be covered by a waiver):
Participant Waiver and Release for a Minor Child (2 pages; form revised 11/06/09) - If your child (under 18) will be participating in The Giving Spirit volunteer events and you (his or her parent or legal guardian) will not be attending, you must sign this release and your child must turn it in at event registration. Your child must still be accompanied and supervised by an adult.

The problem of homelessness is not a simple one. Instead, this is a complex issue involving myriad social, political, and economic factors. As we invite you to get involved – to help those who need it the most – we also invite you to get informed about homelessness. Equip yourself with information so that you too can be an agent of change when you engage with other people about this societal concern.
