The Giving Spirit is an ALL volunteer organization. We are actively seeking help and welcome all to join in and work with us to grow the organization. Here are just a few of the open positions we are looking to fill within our organization:

Fundraising Expertise: If you have experience fundraising and are comfortable with fundraising outreach, please contact jim@thegivingspirit.org.

Copywriter: We have a number of communication initiatives including newsletters,  collateral, press releases, etc. If you have good writing skills and want to help out, please contact james@thegivingspirit.org.

Public Relations Leadership: Media outreach is a key marketing component of what we do. If you are interested in spreading the good word please contact james@thegivingspirit.org.

Event Planner: If you are good at organizing and staffing events then we need you. Please contact peter@thegivingspirit.org.

Graphic Design: Designing our marketing collateral and various media pieces is important and valuable to fundraising and outreach. If you are interested please contact james@thegivingspirit.org.

Printing Company: Every year we need to print guides and handouts for the homeless with shelter and donation locations and directions to include in our kits. We are looking for commerical printing companies who can donate their services to support our outreach. Please contact james@thegivingspirit.org.

Grantwriter: Someone with grantwriting experience and/or those interested in gaining grantwriting experience. Please contact tim@thegivingspirit.org.

Procurement Team Members: Our procurement team has a big job and we need lots of smart and well organized people to help make our outreach events happen. A few hours per month during the year - basic labor, inventory control, contact potential organizations for in-kind donations, inventory transport, work with leaders on inventory ideas, those with SUV's especially welcome. Tax Accountant: We are looking for help pulling together our annual tax returns. Contact candace@thegivingspirit.org.

CPA: We need help conducting an annual financial review of our books. Contact candace@thegivingspirit.org.

Commercial Moving and Delivery Service (truck drivers and truck owners): Each year we need bonded and licensed drivers and trucks to help us move goods from place to place in the preparation and delivery of our kits. If interested in helping out please contact tim@thegivingspirit.org.
